I believe that staying informed and educated is crucial in helping my clients achieve optimal health and wellness. And one of my favorite ways to do that is by listening to health and wellness podcasts. These podcasts provide valuable information, inspiration, and motivation in the form of conversations with experts and real-life stories.
Here are my top four favorite health and wellness podcasts:
The Model Health Show – Hosted by Shawn Stevenson. The Model Health Show is a fun, entertaining, and enlightening look at health and fitness. No subject is off limits here! World-renown author and nutritionist Shawn Stevenson breaks down complex health issues and makes them easy to understand and overcome. Whether it’s weight loss, chronic fatigue, heart disease, diet, exercise, sex, hormones, sleep problems, or countless other health topics, the insights you get here will help you transform your health and live your best life ever.
The Doctor’s Farmacy – Hosted by Dr. Mark Hyman. He is a world famous, nine-time #1 New York Times bestselling author on health and well-being and an internationally recognized leader, speaker, educator, and advocate in his field of Functional Medicine. His podcast is a place for deep conversations about the critical issues of our time in the space of health, wellness, food and aging. New episodes are released every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday morning.
The Melissa Made Show – Hosted by Melissa McAllister, this podcast is all about living a healthy and happy life. Melissa shares each week about issues that she feels strongly about. She and her guests talk about deep nutrition, mindset, self-care, the ideal workout routine, tips on how and why to implement intermittent fasting in your life, her favorite recipes and how to make lifestyle changes that stick.
8 Minutes to Ageless – Hosted by Dr Kelli Pearson. I worked for Dr Pearson for many years in Spokane, WA. She is an incredibly talented Chiropractor, speaker and teacher. She has expanded upon the research she did for her book “8 MInutes to Ageless” and started this podcast with all her latest research. This podcast is terrific for anyone over 40 and under 100! It’s an excellent listen for those who want to live well up to the day they die. While that sounds morbid, it is better than dying a slow death unable to move during the ten years before that final day.
For me, staying informed and educated is crucial for my clients’ health and wellness. I highly recommend listening to these health and wellness podcasts for valuable information, inspiration, and motivation on topics of health, wellness, and preventing and reversing chronic disease. These podcasts are a great way to stay informed and motivated on your journey to optimal health and wellness.
