We finally got things organized enough to go for a walk. It was really balmy outside after a heavy rain last night. The rain helped cool things down a bit though and that helped us a lot on the walk. From door to sand is .74 miles! We took off our shoes once we hit the beach and got in some grounding while walking on the sand. The waves were amazing as the surf is unusually high due to tropical storm Pamela.
We made a two mile loop and passed some friendly creatures on our way home. We also found a vegan cafe, called Chula, where we ordered lattes to go. I, of course, asked for whole milk for Ray completely forgetting that milk is not vegan! Nice to know there is a cafe with friendly employees a quarter of a mile from our place:)
We ran a bunch of errands to help get our place organized. We stopped at La Comer, a local grocery/home goods store on our way home. After shopping we decided to eat at their cafe. The meal above was what Ray ordered and the entire cost was $5! We are going to go back and try breakfast later this week which runs about $3.50;)
Sounds like a perfect daily walk to the beach. And good pricing on food.
I think that will be ‘our’ walk like the boardwalk was in CDA😊
So excited for you both! Keep finding all those good places that we can visit when we come!
Will do!!
Love reading about your explorations!
Thank you! It’s been a fun way for me to keep in touch with people and journal at the same time 😊
