Our neighbor, Sam, told us about a beach in the marina that was perfect for swimming. We decided to head over there today to check it out. The marina is interesting because there is a guard at the entrance who stops you to ask what you are going to do there then, after you tell him, he asks for your name and writes it down on a piece of paper. I keep wondering what he does with the info that Jen is going to the beach? When I leave I don’t see him marking off that Jen has left the beach. Sorry, a little off track with my musings🤪.
Once through the gate and parked, there is a relatively short walk to the playita ( little beach). You walk pass the rescued seals and the ‘swim with the dolphins’ area (and an occasional green friend 😊). When the path forks stay to the left and soon you arrive at a small beach protected by the rock walls of the marina. El Gonzo Hotel has a small private beach area there with palapas and a bar. To the right of that, however, is a small stretch of beach for everyone to enjoy. The water is perfect for swimming because the marina walls keep it basically waveless and at his time of year the water temperature is wonderfully warm. So nice and perfect for getting some laps in. This little adventure was beautiful way to end the afternoon and work up an appetite for dinner 🥰
Sounds like a great place to go!!!!
We will have to go when you’re here!
I love seeing your green friends. And the playita sounds wonderful. I love finding special little hidden gems. Keep a record maybe there is a “Hidden Gems San Jose Cabo” book in your future.
Maybe!!
Great Photos!!
Thanks Laurie 🥰
The playita sounds wonderful and the guard thing sounds a little weird 😜.
