While continuing on our quest to go on new adventures, over the last couple of days we tried two new things. The first was to find the Playa Estero. This beach leads into an estuary that is home to over 350 species of wildlife and vegetation. We drove to find it one day to no avail but yesterday we happened upon it while taking a different beach walk. When we walked the path around to the entrance we realized we had driven right by it but the estuary is unmarked from the street. A bit of a hidden gem. Note to self, even though it may feel good when starting out, 86 degrees and 64% humidity not the best time to walk! We were so hot that we walked directly into our pool when we got back😊. That felt amazing!
Tonight we tried the restaurant Las Guacamayas. We had heard it was another great inexpensive restaurant and it did not disappoint😊 We both tried the stuffed potatoes. I had the rib eye and Ray the marinated pork. Yum! They were so big that we took half home with us. Looks like I don’t have to cook tomorrow! BTW, that big cup in my hand is filled with Agua de pepino, cucumber water 😋
I’m getting ready to do my last prep for a practical assessment I have for school tomorrow. But before I begin, I thought I’d share a blessing with you. I was thinking a lot about friends and family today. Spending time in their company has always been high on my list. Even though I won’t be seeing any of them for a bit, in prayer today God reminded me that I’m never alone. I always have Him with me, comforting me, loving me. Just the thought of that put a big smile on my face and warmed my heart. Just the gift I needed❤️
Many Blessings to you🥰
Amazing having a pool right outside to jump into! It’s true God is always with us. But you’re still missed very much!!❤️
Looking forward to seeing you next month sis❤️
Beautiful pics and beautiful, adventuresome people ❤️
