I was so worn out last night that I fell asleep at nine and didn’t get a chance to blog. I think I had my sister worried a bit. She text first thing this morning to see if I was doing ok. Nice to have someone looking out for you❤️

We are getting things done! Bought a cabinet to serve as a pantry and a media console at Home Depot. They definitely took a lot longer to put together than they did to buy but they are up. We also had a Hyundai technician look at our tire and he seems to think that after adjusting the valve that we are good to go! That was a big answer to prayer❤️

We also have a neighbors wifi code and we can now get internet if we sit next to the wall or go to the pool. A bit crazy but it’s something! I’m counting that as a blessing too🥰

One thing that I did not expect was the challenge of being the only one who speaks a bit of Spanish. I think in the long run I will appreciate it because my Spanish can only get better. But right now, it’s a bit exhausting. I feel the weight of trying to figure everything out. Don’t get me wrong, Ray is amazing at putting things together and getting things done. It is just different needing to do all the talking and reading when shopping and doing errands etc. I think it is a good lesson for both of us. Ray will be starting Spanish lessons soon😊

After a long, fruitful day, we treated ourselves to dinner out. Claro’s Fish is within walking distance from our place and serve great, inexpensive tacos. We both ordered smoked marlin, and I had grilled fish and Ray the shrimp diabla. They have a salsa/salad bar to top off your tacos with. Watch out for the sauce that looks like thousand island dressing! It has quite the kick to it!!!

Thanks for checking in on this blog. I have loved getting comments from friends all over and I am enjoying sharing our life with you all. God has filled our lives with so many wonderful friends and family. Wherever we have lived we have made wonderful connections. Looking forward to connecting with more amigos here in Mexico.
