We made it downtown today! It is one of our favorite places to hang out in San Jose. You know you’ve arrived when you see the huge Mexican flag in the center of the square. In the morning, the police put the flag up with all the fanfare; marching saluting, and bugle playing. Fun note, We can hear the bugle from our place😊

The colorful San Jose del Cabo sign is just off the square in front of a beautiful Catholic Church. The sign was made interactive by a local artist we really like who has a studio in downtown. His name is Ivan Guaderrama and I strongly recommend stopping by if you visit.

We have vowed to try something new each time we are in town. Today we stopped by a charming cafe called Armario. It is an open air cafe and a great place from which to people watch. It was quite warm outside and Ray completely enjoyed his cold Pacifico Claro! In Mexico, they make many Agua de frutas (fruit water) out of fresh fruit and vegetables. I had a cucumber lime water that was delicious. We look forward to coming back to this place.

Ray really heard me yesterday😊 Today he went to the store twice and got the car washed all on his own❤️That is one of the things I love about him. He is always willing to do what he can when he realizes I’m stressed about something. Very grateful for many things tonight but mainly for the blessing of a parter who truly loves me.
