Hello friends! It has been a while since I’ve written on my blog but I thought I would share with you our latest traveling adventure. Ray and I are escaping the heat of a Baja Mexican summer and traveling to cooler land.

Today was the first day of our month-long trip to the beautiful country of Italy. This is a dream come true for me! Our first stop- Milan.

Our day started off a bit shaky because of a train strike we were unaware of. After trying frantically to catch a taxi we ended up walking an extra mile to meet our E Bike tour group. Fortunately, everyone waited for us to arrive. So kind!!! We took a wonderful 3.5 hour bike tour throughout the city. I highly recommend this! We are only staying in this city for two nights and this tour was a great way to see many of Milan’s beautiful sites.

Ray and I both agreed that the Duomo was our favorite site to see. So impressive! And second for both of us was the Galleria. I even took a foot spin on the delicate parts of the bull for good luck!!!The entire city, however, has hidden gems that appear out of seemingly nowhere. Ruins mixed in with new buildings. Hidden churches and courtyards behind big wooden doors. Very fun city to explore. Much easier to get around after the train strike ended at 3pm😊
